Sue has 30 years of Physiotherapy experience both within New Zealand as well as Canada. She has worked clinically and within research projects both at the University of Otago Human Performance Centre, and at the Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Alberta. Musculoskeletal physiotherapy has been her focus until her recent specialisation in Hand Therapy.
Sue became a qualified hand therapist in 2022. She is also a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor and teaches community based Pilates classes.
Outside of work Sue has been known to ride her bike (the length of Aotearoa) and looks forward to the time when she can take her preferred mode of travel to overseas destinations – Iceland, Scotland and Ireland are top of the list but Italian food also sees Italy on the list of places to ride a bike.
Sue also enjoys working on a wonderful property in Kauri that needs some serious attention both inside and out which is a creative challenge.
